HDJ Wraps-Up Lean Six Sigma Training

By HDJ

After an energetic few months of training, HDJ has completed the final round of
classroom instruction for Lean Six Sigma. HDJ kicked off Lean Six Sigma in April with
the first week-long training event, followed by a second week-long event In May.
The training culminated with another event in June with the entire company during our
HDJ Summer Extravaganza week in Michigan.

The HDJ Lean Six Sigma team is now working to complete our initial Lean Six Sigma
projects. Projects were identified based upon their potential to improve our systems
and processes by making gains in efficiency, quality, and client experience.

HDJ is committed to the Six Sigma improvement process because the healthiest
businesses always recognize opportunities to improve. HDJ selected the Six Sigma
program based upon its potential to have a significant and meaningful impact on
our business by improving overall delivery. Six Sigma leads to improved processes by
utilizing statistical analysis, controlling variation, and using a data-driven
methodology to identify and implement changes.

We are excited about our Lean Six Sigma program and the potential for it to deliver
improvements throughout HDJ and the value we provide to our clients. We look
forward to applying our training to improve overall project support for our clients
and partners.

HDJ is a leading national design firm providing architectural and engineering
expertise to support projects throughout the United States.
